We invite you to join AIA UK and AIA Continental Europe for an immersive two-day trip to the Venice Architecture Biennale 2025!The program includes an exclusive visit to Banca Generali (Designed by David Chipperfield), group exploration of the Biennale’s exhibitions at the Giardini or Arsenale, and opportunities to connect with peers over Venetian aperitivo and lunch.Discover how architecture today intertwines nature, technology, and collective intelligence — while experiencing the world’s most inspiring showcase of design and ideas in the timeless city of Venice.

Detailed Agenda

Day 1 – Saturday, 8 November 2025

Morning – Arrival & Self-Guided Exploration
Participants arrive in Venice and enjoy a relaxed morning to explore the city’s canals, cultural landmarks, or local exhibitions at their own pace.

14:30 – 16:30 – Architectural Visit: Banca Generali by David Chipperfield
An exclusive visit to one of Venice’s most refined examples of contemporary architecture in harmony with its historic surroundings.

16:30 – Aperitivo & Networking (Self-Paid)
Informal evening drinks at a local bacaro, offering a chance to connect with fellow participants and discuss first impressions.

Day 2 – Sunday, 9 November 2025

09:30 – 14:30 – Group Visit: Venice Architecture Biennale 2025
Together as a group, participants will explore the Giardini and Arsenale exhibitions at their own rhythm, engaging with installations and pavilions aligned with this year’s curatorial theme, “Intelligens: Natural. Artificial. Collective.”
While the visit is self-guided, the shared experience allows for rich peer-to-peer exchange and informal discussion throughout the day.

13:00 – Group Lunch (Included)
Set menu lunch at a reserved cafe inside of the venue — an opportunity to reconnect, share discoveries, and reflect on the Biennale experience.

14:00 – Closing Remarks & Departures
Wrap-up reflections and individual departures.

AIA Member/ Guest: £80

AIA members can puchase 1 additional ticket at the same rate for a guest.

Inclusions: Biennale tickets, Banca Generali visit, group lunch (Day 2)

Not Included: Travel to/from Venice, accommodation, and Day 1 aperitivo
