Join us on Thursday, July 3rd, 2025 at 6pm for an AIA UK Building Tour led by Hannah Corlett and Alex Howard, as we explore the Greenwich Peninsula Master Plan with a focused walk through the acclaimed Design District. This tour will begin with an overview of the larger Peninsula vision before narrowing in on the Design District, a bold, pedestrian-friendly development conceived by Hannah Corlett as a permanent home for the creative industries. As we walk through its network of streets and courtyards, we’ll examine how the master plan establishes a new urban grain and a distinct architectural character that contrasts with the surrounding urban landscape. We’ll step inside several of the 14 buildings to explore how varied interior spaces, ranging from open studios to bespoke workshops, have been tailored to support creativity and collaboration. Along the way, we’ll discuss the collaborative design strategy behind the district, and the unique architectural expressions found in individual buildings.
