Description

Welcome to the latest excursion in the AIA UK’s Super Saturday series. This event offers a valuable opportunity to engage with the architectural heritage of Windsor and to examine a recently completed, award-winning building on the Eton College campus.

The programme will begin with a guided tour of Eton College, led by directors from both the college and Hopkins Architects. This will provide insight into the institution’s historic development and allow for a detailed exploration of its latest architectural interventions. Following lunch at a riverside venue, the afternoon will be dedicated to a walking tour of Windsor. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the town’s urban fabric and many significant historic buildings including of Windsor Castle—the world’s oldest and largest inhabited castle.

There will be an optional boat ride along the Thames for those who want to extend their stay in Windsor.
