Membership Transfers 

If you are interested in transferring your membership from another local chapter to the AIA UK chapter, please complete the transfer form and the AIA UK membership form.

To hold AIA UK membership in addition to another current chapter membership, you will only need to complete the AIA UK membership form.

New Members

Applicants for Architect, Associate, and International Associate categories of membership are required to complete both the AIA National application (forms below) and the AIA UK membership form.

Applicants for Professional Affiliate and Student categories of membership are only required to join AIA UK and complete the AIA UK membership form. Membership in AIA National is optional.

The AIA offers up to 18 months of complementary membership to recent graduates of a United States accredited school of architecture.  This includes membership in the AIA UK, more information here. Please complete the appropriate National application (form below) and the AIA UK membership form.

  • Architect Application (licensed in the US, non-US Resident)
  • Associate (non-licensed)
  • Recent Graduate Application
  • International Associate Member Application (licensed in a foreign country)
